Action on the economic meltdown and the climate crisis is urgent and necessary. The Conservatives have demonstrated they just don't get it and won't act.

It's time for the Liberals, the NDP, the Bloc and the Greens who collectively received 62% of the vote in the election to take responsibility for Canada's future and form a coalition of the majority and a government that will work together -- for the people.

We do not have to be stuck with a Conservative government.

Back in the 30s, governments "stayed the course" and "tightened their belts" in the face of the stock market collapse and, as result, millions were thrown out of work and the crisis dragged on for nearly a decade. This time, governments all over the world are moving swiftly to protect their economies. Everywhere, except Canada. We need a government, even a coalition government, if that's what it takes, to take the kind of decisive and visionary action the Conservatives can't or won't.
